Moissanite was first discovered in a meteor crater in Arizona — in nature, it is extraordinarily rare. Today it is grown in laboratories with jeweler's precision, which is why every stone is flawless.
Moissanite's refractive index is 2.65, compared to 2.42 for a diamond. In practice, that means more fire and more rainbow flashes: the stone visibly plays with light even in dim settings.
With a hardness of 9.25 on the Mohs scale, only diamond is harder. Moissanite won't scratch in everyday wear and never clouds over time.
We use D/VVS1 moissanites — colorless, free of inclusions, with a brilliant cut. Every piece comes with a description of its stone.
